Finally, after a couple weeks of unending fog and clouds and even some snow, the sun finally broke through this morning and provided some nice photo opportunities. The best shot I got was of a White-breasted Nuthatch that was visiting our feeders. I am particularly fond of this shot because the bird is not on a bird feeder but on a tree instead-something I had not accomplished with this species. I hope the clouds and fog stay away because I am going to look for Golden Eagles this Saturday.
